We have launched the new OsCell web site

We have designed and launched a new website for OsCell. Professor James Richardson and Dr. Brian Ashton formed Oscell in 1996 in response to growing interest in Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation. It was felt that it was time for a website upheaval was appropriate with Paul Harrison on board to provide fresh information to the website and a new modern and professional design. The website would look to gain support from patients and donations to maintain research projects and update latest news and patient experiences as the web project gains momentum.

We have developed a website incorporating key features such as donations for current research, latest news and developments and a video to show how the cells look like under a microscope. There are opportunities for site visitors to send donations through PayPal or any major credit cards. Visitors can also send any questions to the team or send their experience from their procedure.

We look forward to continuing to work with OsCell and develop the site over time as the project develops.

We launch a website for Weight Managment

We have developed a new website for a client with the intention to help patients and the general public to track and monitor their progress to reach their planned weight. The graph is the main feature, which displays the member’s progress over a period of time. Members can create goals that will help them to reach their planned weight. Comments in a form of a diary can be left daily for individual goals as well as new graph entries. Members can print out their progress and show their doctor or physio, which they can offer their advice accordingly.

We built the web site with AJAX, which ensures a smooth running of the site as any new content or updates are added instantly. This helps because there is no waiting time for pages to reload or be redirected to new page for updating the web site with the new changes.

We look forward to progressing web site with new features like blogs and community based features as the project develops.

MMS launches The Institute of Orthopaedics charity website

The Institute of Orthopaedics, founded in 1971, is based at the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital at Oswestry. As a registered national charity it funds research and teaching in orthopaedics in a large number of specialist research centres and departments in the Hospital. Several researchers are members of Keele University and other Universities.

Multi Matrix Solutions came with a good e-commerce solution for them to be able to sell books and book courses online. A Contact Management System (CMS) allows them to update the courses and to display new books.

“We required a stable Ecommerce site to show the courses we run, the books we publish on Orthopaedics. This was accomplished at low cost and allows students to book places on the courses, and pay for them on-line. This will streamline the organisation of our courses.” Institute of Orthopaedics

Multi Matrix Solutions Launches Biological Joint.com

Professor James Richardson is an orthopaedic surgeon intent on developing a Biological Joint for patients with early osteo-arthritis.

His comments on his website’s blog:

“My blogs contain my thoughts like Leonardo da Vinci, Livingston, and MacEwen - all kept diaries or published writings frequently and I suspect there is an opportunity of organising one's thoughts and being able to review them that is a useful discipline. People keep blogs in the same vein, and have the advantages over the diaries of old that others can comment and give feedback. The aim is to improve things for others.”

The site developed by Multi Matrix Solutions provides a platform for Professor Richardson to share his knowledge and skills with everyone on biological joints and on other projects and centres he is involved in.
