Specialist Opinion
This is intended to provide patients with surgeons’ personal information on orthopaedic operations, or advice on non-operative management of orthopaedic conditions. It also provides some self-scores for different problems so a patient can come to the surgeon with a score already provided. The aim is for the patient to come to the surgeon with at least the surgeons’ own web information, and so hopefully off to a good start!
What we did?
We were asked to join “Cooked-Bits” to bring depth to the website with articles and papers being able to be published and where patients can leave comments and rate the surgeon.

Biological Joint
Professor Richardson is an orthopaedic surgeon intent on developing a Biological Joint for patients with early osteo-arthritis. The site is readable for surgeon, doctor and patient alike, because the main focus is on improving patient care, and he knows patients have no difficulty in developing specialist knowledge from the Internet.
What we did?
We created a site where he can add and maintain the site himself through our CMS (Content Management System). We created a blog where he can share his knowledge and a Messageboard where people can ask questions and where other surgeons or general people can provide ideas that may be of interest of help..
